IN DETAIL

We were asked by Hope and Glory PR to create the visual for their PR stunt to promote the launch of Sony’s HX400V and HV60V cameras with their 50x zoom capabilities.  The brief required us to create the world’s first offshore gallery, using original prints from Where’s Wally? creator Martin Handford.  The cameras were tested by industry professionals as well as by members of the general public

Sketch created a floating gallery by using a sunken platform placed inches under the water level in Southwark Park Boating Lake.  We attached easels to the platform for the Where’s Wally? prints to be hung from.

Sketch managed all construction and transportation for the exhibition.

Claire Beard, product manager for DSC, Sony UK said: “We wanted to bring a bit of fun to the park experience this summer so we have partnered up with Where’s Wally? creators to make the ultimate family treasure hunt.”

The product launch received coverage from The Daily Mail and Timeout.

After the event Sketch donated one of the original prints to The Alex Children’s Hospital at The Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
