The second ‘Christmas in July’ press day that we have held for the amazon.co.uk PR team saw the launch of the new Amazon Kindle and there was huge excitement around the launch of the Xbox Kinect.

A ‘Christmas Carol’ theme was chosen, complete with a Victorian marketplace and Scrooge’s reading room for the display of the Kindle.

Key product lines from every department on the amazon.co.uk site were showcased, from Consumer Electronics and Toys & Games to Health & Beauty and Sports & Leisure, as well as a seperate area to house the latest collections available from the site’s sister handbag and shoe retailer, Javari.co.uk
