Last Thursday we set up camp at London‘s New Street Square with British Summer Fruits and Rachel Riley . We were there to work on an exciting new giant berry brain PR stunt which was created to promote the fact that berries could help to improve memory and concentration following recent research.
Sketch were commissioned to design and create a giant berry brain to illustrate and draw attention to the new research findings. The super-sized brain was made using 1,500 punnets of fresh strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. The overall sculpture stood an impressive 2m high and 4m wide. The team from Sketch produced the overall stunt managing all transportation and onsite logistics for the experiential event.

The Countdown presenter Rachel Riley was on hand to unveil the giant berry brain and highlight the healthy living message. She posed for photographs for the press aside the giant brain and also posed for selfies with a few lucky passers-by too.
Passers-by were encouraged to take a punnet of the fruit of their choice fruit to increase their brain power. People were also encouraged to take a selfie with the giant berry prop and upload it to their social media channels using the hashtag #BerryBrainy.
There was not a berry left on the brain by the end of the day and the occupants of New Street Square were very happy indeed!
A very good result!Tags: #BerryBrainy, British Summer Berries, Giant Berry Brain, New Street Square, Rachel Riley, Seasonal Berries, Superfood
