Paris Olympics Hospitality: 100 Days to Go – Creating the Ultimate Olympic Experience

As the Paris 2024 Olympics approached, On Location partnered with us to promote their exclusive hospitality packages. The campaign’s objective was to generate excitement and drive awareness about the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of attending the Olympics, with luxury accommodations, fine dining, and VIP access to world-class athletic performances.

Our team brought this OOH campaign to life with a large-scale stunt activation. From concept creation and ideation to final OOH creative production, we focused on delivering an unforgettable experience. We designed immersive installations that captured the goosebump-inducing moments of the Games, while emphasizing the luxury and exclusivity of the hospitality packages. Strategic OOH placements and visual design ensured that this campaign resonated with audiences, blending the excitement of the Paris Olympics with the allure of high-end experiences.

This campaign earned widespread recognition and press coverage, including front-page placement in The Times, features on the BBC Breakfast show, ITV News, Channel 5 News, and major publications like Tatler, Condé Nast, and MailOnline, with coverage reaching as far as Australia and Asia.

Key performance highlights include:

  • Campaign reach of up to 1.4bn+ (based on circulation and viewership)
  • UK e-commerce sales surged by 76% during the week of the stunt
  • Web traffic in April almost doubled compared to March
  • Lead generation increased, with 1,279 UK leads in April (up from 951 in March)
  • B2B revenue in the UK rose by 21% MoM, proving the campaign’s ability to drive both awareness and business growth.

GambleAware: Clouded Billboard – Shattering the Stigma of Gambling Harm

In 2024, GambleAware partnered with us to challenge the stigma around gambling addiction and raise awareness of its harmful effects. The task was to create an OOH campaign that conveyed the emotional struggle of gambling addiction in a way that would resonate deeply with the public.

We created the Clouded Billboard, a striking installation symbolizing the confusion and mental fog experienced by those affected by gambling. Our team managed every aspect of the campaign, from location booking and prop design to set development and logistics. The billboard was strategically placed in Birmingham, chosen for its high levels of gambling harm, with 38,000 adults affected55% higher than the Great Britain average. This made the campaign even more impactful and relevant to local audiences.

This OOH campaign proved to be a powerful example of how out-of-home advertising can be used to address critical social issues and drive change.

Apple: Made on iPad – Creativity Meets Sport at the Paris Olympics

While Apple was not an official sponsor of the Paris 2024 Olympics, its Made on iPad OOH campaign made a major impact. The activation featured whimsical illustrations by French artist Simon Landrein, showing “athletes” in everyday, quirky situations—such as grocery weightlifting or playing tennis.

Our Paris Olympics activation perfectly complemented this campaign. By combining sport-inspired visuals with Apple’s creative messaging, this campaign demonstrated the power of contextually timed OOH advertising. Nike’s OOH campaign for the NYC Marathon 2024 focused on the emotional journey of marathon runners. Despite New Balance being the official sponsor, Nike’s minimalist yet powerful OOH ads created a profound impact by resonating with participants. Simple yet evocative phrases like “Running is awful. I love it,” and “You’ve come hundreds of miles to get here. Only 26.2 to go,” struck an emotional chord with runners.
