To ensure Netflix’s Petflix campaign achieved its objective of honouring beloved on-screen animals, the focus was placed on faithfully recreating Antilly, the iconic dog from After Life. From the outset, accuracy and emotional authenticity were key. We worked closely with Netflix to define the visual and sculptural direction, ensuring the final piece captured Antilly’s recognisable character, warmth, and presence.

Following concept sign-off, the statue was developed through a detailed, hands-on production process spanning several months. This included sculpting, moulding, and fine surface detailing, with careful attention given to proportions, expression, and texture. Every stage of the build was managed in-house, allowing for consistent quality control from initial design through to final finish.

The project concluded with shoot day and permanent installation beside the After Life bench in Hemel Hempstead, the original filming location of the series. Positioning the statue in this meaningful setting ensured the tribute resonated with fans of the show, creating a lasting landmark that celebrated Antilly’s role within the series while extending the reach and emotional impact of Netflix’s Petflix campaign.
