Lucozade: Ice Vault

We were briefed by WeAreSocial, to help them bring a crazy viral content idea to life for the launch of Lucozade’s brand new ‘Ice Kick’ flavour – endorsed by Jude Bellingham…

The Brief

WeAreSocial came to us with the idea to create a giant ‘Ice Vault’ and place it at Shoreditch Powerleague for football fans to earn the chance to get their hands on the brand-new ‘Ice Kick’ flavour and some amazing prizes!

The Execution

We designed and produced the ‘Ice Vault’ a 1.5m cube block of ice, complete with carved branding (including logos and even a silhouette of Jude’s iconic celebration and signature) and a code-operated safe that housed prizes such as signed shirts, tickets to England games and the never-before-seen Lucozade Ice Kick drink…

The vault was installed at Shoreditch Powerleague where the event and content shoot took place. Jude and Lucozade combined to release clues to their social channels, to see who could solve the riddle and crack the code to the vault.

Participants queued for a chance to crack the vault but, once at the front of the queue, they had 3x attempts to hit the crossbar in order to earn the opportunity to punch in their guess at the code. After many unsuccessful attempts from many unlucky participants, 3 lucky winners went home with some fantastic prizes and an exclusive taste of Lucozade Ice Kick.
