What we did
Kiss FM and Wieden+Kennedy approached us to create and deliver a fully mobile broadcast experience for a one-day live activation across London. The concept centred around taking Kiss FM’s breakfast show out of the studio and directly onto the streets of the city, creating a high-energy campaign that combined live radio, audience interaction, content creation, music, and surprise moments throughout the day.
The activation was designed to bring the “Mundane Mayhem” campaign to life in a way that felt immersive, unpredictable, and impossible to ignore, turning everyday London locations into live entertainment spaces and creating real-world moments audiences could engage with both in person and online.
The brief was to design, build, and manage the “Mundane Mayhem” truck – a fully branded mobile broadcast and performance vehicle for Kiss FM’s breakfast show hosted by Tyler West and Chloe Burrows.
The experience needed to function as a moving radio studio while also supporting multiple live DJ stop-offs, public giveaways, content capture opportunities, and large-scale audience engagement moments across London. Alongside the live breakfast broadcast, the activation included roaming performances, branded entertainment moments, talent appearances, and an evening music event to close the campaign.
Our role was to oversee the end-to-end production and operational delivery of the activation, ensuring the experience could move seamlessly between locations while maintaining the energy and visibility of a live event throughout the day.
We transformed a clear truck into a fully wrapped mobile broadcast and performance space, designing and installing all technical infrastructure required for both internal radio broadcasting and external live performances. This included production setup, power, staging, audio integration, branding, and live operational support to allow the truck to function as both a moving studio and an event space.
The campaign began with a live Kiss FM breakfast broadcast directly from the truck before moving across London for a series of content-led activations featuring Kiss FM talent, performers, branded props, and public engagement moments. Throughout the day, the activation travelled across key London locations including Uber Boats, Tube stations, and outdoor public spaces, capturing social-first content and creating spontaneous interactions with audiences across the city.
The day continued with a large-scale content shoot in Battersea Park featuring branded Kiss lip costumes, roaming performers, and Nick Bright from Kiss FM. The campaign then concluded at Potters Fields Park with a live evening DJ event featuring TikTok DJs Altego and Switch Disco, alongside free KFC giveaways and live audience engagement.
Alongside the creative execution, we managed all operational logistics required to deliver the activation across multiple live locations in one day. This included truck production and branding, technical installation, event logistics, staffing, security coordination, talent and actor management, food and hospitality coordination, and full live performance production management throughout the campaign.
