Our good friends at Fanclub PR came to us, on behalf of their client ‘Emma Mattresses’ with an exciting brief to help them bring to life their fantastic idea of the Emma Shleep Sanctuary…
The Shleep Sanctuary is the world’s first luxury sheep-counting experience and we set it up in the stunning, rolling Sussex hills. The science-backed retreat helped a selection of media, influencers and lucky competition winners make the most of the latest Green Sleep trend, one dream at a time.
To bring the Shleep Sanctuary to life, we first had to find the perfect location. A beautiful field, on a farm with sheep, in which we could install the experience and welcome a series of guests to stay and sleep there overnight.
Once we’d sourced a location the creation of the experience could commence. We built an outdoor dome and fitted it with a series of bespoke features that optimised the guests sleeping experience; blackout curtains, mini fridge, Dyson fan/heater, festoon lights, wellies, robes, pyjamas, eye masks and, of course, the immensely comfortable bed setup that was provided by Emma. We even installed a decking upon which guests received free yoga sessions, provided luxury bathroom facilities for extra comfort and sprayed numbers on each of the sheep to help our guests count to sleep!
Each night guests were served a gorgeous dinner, cooked fresh from local ingredients, under the stars. Each morning they woke up to a hamper full of lovely breakfast treats.
The campaign was live for 3 days and saw a total of 6 guests stay overnight at the Shleep Sanctuary. The campaign was so received that we then took it over to France where even more lucky competition winners had the chance to experience the perfect night’s sleep, counting real sheep on an Emma mattress.
