What we did
Global food brand, ‘Burger King’ have halted their production of plastic toys in kid’s meals and have launched the #BKMeltdown initiative.
Commissioned by Frank PR, we built and installed ‘Beep Beep’ (the melting toy rabbit) at Observation Point, on South Bank, in London to promote Burger King’s brand-new #BKMeltdown initiative.
The idea behind it is that people can bring their plastic toys, found in fast food kid’s meals, and hand them in to be melted down and reused. In exchange for the toys, participants would be rewarded with a free Burger King meal!
The installation was built entirely from recycled polystyrene and was even broken down and recycled after the event was finished.
Check out some the photos and videos above, if you’ve not done so already!
The ‘Beep Beep’ melting toy installation managed to generate 1,416 pieces of coverage
