Chase: Oracle Teller Machine

The Chase OTM machine on a football pitch in Edinburgh

The Brief

Our friends at WeAreSocial briefed us to bring their idea of the Chase OTM: Oracle Teller Machine to life, for their ‘Statements of Intent’ social campaign. Celebrating Chase’s sponsorship of the England and Scotland football teams, during the 2026 World Cup.

In Detail

The Oracle Teller Machine is a custom-built fabrication, with bespoke software, designed to print out predictions about the England and Scotland national teams during the 2026 World Cup. Users could even speak and type their own predictions into the machine to be printed as well.

In order to deliver content moments both here in the UK and in conjunction with the England team’s World Cup 2026 training in Florida, we produced 2x identical machines – one in the US and one to cover England & Scotland.

The OTM was present in Tampa and West Palm Beach, in Florida. It was first activated outside the Raymond James Stadium during England’s first warm-up game. Fans approaching the stadium not only had a chance to make predictions, but also win themselves a pair of tickets to the following warm up game in Orlando! The machine dispensed winning tickets at random, encouraging mass participation at the game.

Following that, it was installed at an England media day where captain Harry Kane, accompanied by Declan Rice and Dean Henderson, had the chance to engage with the OTM. This time the OTM had 2 different game modes; ‘2 Truths, 1 Lie’ & ‘Statements Ranked’ – giving the players statements for the players to react to, creating some hilarious content moments for Chase’s instagram.

Following a successful tour in Florida, it was time to take on the British public in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Brighton, as well as at a number of Chase’s UK offices.
