Following on from the ‘Aurora’ winter theme that closed out 2021, we’ve been back to re-imagine the experience at The View from the Shard, this time celebrating the place that The Shard calls home through ‘British Icons’.

Fuelled by pride and patriotism, the experience is a celebration of all the things that make London, London. From the instantly recognisable phone booths and post boxes to Her Majesty, The Queen herself and everything in between, the experience immerses guests from entry at the ground floor entrance, all the way up to the 72nd floor and includes a dazzling array of graphics, props and installations that epitomise the spirit of London.

We installed a brand-new photo moment, that would be fit for a royal, at the entrance of the Shard. A large golden throne with a bespoke neon backdrop and custom-made curtain drapes.

We redesigned the two bars on floors 69 and 72. The bar on floor 69 was inspired by the celebrations of Queen Elizabeth II’s platinum jubilee. With a Union Jack bar front and giant, floating platinum crown dressed with jewels! The bar on floor 72 payed homage to the iconic skyline of London that The Shard’s viewing platform is so famous for.
