Nine Dots Prize PR Stunt

October 24, 2016 - 2 minutes read

Sketch were up nice and early last week to work on an exciting photo shoot with Riot Communications for the new Nine Dots Prize. The PR stunt & photo shoot took place to mark the launch of the their new prize for creative thinking that addresses contemporary societal issues.

The prize is called the Nine Dots Prize – after the nine dots puzzle, which is a lateral thinking puzzle that can only be solved by drawing outside the box of nine dots arranged in three rows of three.  Entrants to the competition need to answer the question ‘Are digital technologies making politics impossible?’ and  the winner receives US$100,000 and a book deal with Cambridge University Press.  Not bad hey?

The PR Stunt took place in London’s Battersea Park and featured nine models who were painted bronze.  The nine models were positioned in various formations on individual plinthes and posing in Rodin‘s famous The Thinker pose.

Sketch sourced and secured the location for the shoot including all the required licenses.  We sourced and booked the models and creatives for the shoot while managing all of the onsite logistics on the day.

It was such a fantastic shoot and we look forward to seeing the images in the press promoting the superb new competition.

We also look forward to hearing about all the entrants ideas!
