Sketch Events were approached by Tic Tac’s PR agency Cikle PR to design, create and build a 3-day pop-up interactive experience, designed to encourage people to open up in a fun and light-hearted way, in London’s Covent Garden. The activity supports the brand’s new ‘Open Up’ marketing campaign.

Interactive elements

The pop-up featured various interactive elements for consumers to experience, including a bespoke dispenser with 10 Tic Tac flavours to make their own mix, and a printer to create their own label to create a truly personalised pack.

In the next room, a mixologist created 10 cocktails and mocktails inspired by the flavours of Tic Tac. A photo booth with dress up box and backdrop entertained everyone, and every shared photo was entered into a prize draw. Seating areas, aroma pods, cool music and dressed surroundings finished off the main room experience.

High footfall

Over the course of the 3 day event, the pop-up welcomed over 1,000 people to the venue with queues outside the door for the duration.

Sketch Events designed, created and built the event in its entirety, including the bespoke designed aroma pods, Tic Tac dispensing unit, and the layout, design and dressing of each room and element.

The pop-up was part of Tic-Tac’s Open Up campaign, which includes extensive print media advertising and TV spots – the first for the brand for 5 years.
