IN DETAIL

Sketch were honoured to work with Riot Communications on their latest project with the Nine Dots Prize.  The project involved a PR Stunt & photo shoot which marked the launch of their new prize for creative thinking that addresses contemporary societal issues.

Entrants need to answer the question ‘Are digital technologies making politics impossible?’ with the winner getting US$100,000 and a book deal with Cambridge University Press. The Prize is called the Nine Dots Prize – after the nine dots puzzle, which is a lateral thinking puzzle that can only be solved by drawing outside the box of nine dots arranged in three rows of three.

The PR Stunt  took place in Battersea Park and featured nine models who were painted bronze.  The nine models were positioned in various formations on individual plinths whilst all striking Rodin’s famous The Thinker pose.

Sketch sourced and secured the location for the shoot including all the required licenses.  We sourced and booked the models and creatives for the shoot while managing all the onsite logistics on the day.

The PR stunt was promoted online and on social media using the hashtag #9dots
