Sketch Events were appointed by Lovehoney to create a live experience for the online brand.  The experiential campaign involved consumers sampling their products in an imaginative way on the lead up to Valentine’s Day, a big day in the Lovehoney calendar.

Online retailer Lovehoney wanted face-to-face time with their consumers so sought our help to produce an experiential event with a difference.  Lovehoney wanted to give a product sampling experience but in a fun and creative way.

As the event took place on the run up to Valentines Day, pampering was a key part of the experience and so the Lovehoney Bus was born.  The Lovehoney bus was a branded airstream that housed our pampering team who would give free foot massages to consumers passing through London’s Southbank.  The foot massages came with a twist – they were performed using Lovehoney’s popular wand vibrators.

Consumers queued around the block for a free foot massage and goody bags.  Over 200 consumers visited the airstream with 50% signing up to data capture.  The event generated 53 pieces of coverage which created 5.6 million opportunities to see.  Lovehoney’s aim to reduce stress leading up to Valentines day was achieved.

Sketch sourced & booked the location and staffing for the event, managed all elements of the airstream bus including exterior/interior design and transportation and oversaw all onsite logistics.
