Forget swans, lilos and rubber rings, TravelSupermarket has produced a new holiday inflatable, designed in response to customer research which reveal British holidaymakers’ inflatable woes.
The research found that more than a third of Brits have fallen into the water while trying to get on or off an inflatable, more than a quarter have been sunburned while lounging on an inflatable due to a lack of shade, 10% have dropped their phone in the water while trying to text or take a photo and 9% have fallen into the water while trying to take a selfie.
So with almost one in 10 wishing their inflatable had a selfie stick to take those Instagram-worthy holiday snaps, TravelSupermarket’s Ultimate Inflatable has been designed to capture celebrity style poolside shots, with a built-in mirror and removable selfie stick so pics can be uploaded within minutes, using the inflatable’s integrated Wi-Fi hotspot. The prototype inflatable comes complete with cup holders, a sun shade and waterproof and battery-powered gadgets like Bluetooth speakers.
It’s the only companion you need on holiday – and a great example of a brand listening to its customers and responding with a unique, fun and seasonal activation.
